A centre for children between 8 years – 14 years of age from the neighbouring houses in and around L. R. Nagar. The children are offered non-formal education and assistance to cope with school homework. The centre provides learning opportunities that encourages them to go to school regularly.

 

The centre works between 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm and is located in the same building as the CEWA Government aided school, L. R. Nagar.

Teachers engage children in non – formal education activities that includes ‘back – to – school’ courses, art and craft classes, recreational activities and out-door sports.  They are also taught English and Maths additionally to become self-equipped.

Children are provided with healthy and nutritious mid-day meals to maintain the wellness of the children, medical check-ups are done at regular intervals. Parent – Teacher meetings are conducted during which programmes on health and hygiene, importance of education, good practices are included.
