The Mission of YWCA of Bangalore City is relevant even today as we have been witnessing an unprecedented and rapid, social change and urbanization. With an increase in the number of young women pursuing higher education and growing number of career oriented women in the work force, the need to support and empower them in various ways is more now than ever before.

 

What started as a small venture has now grown into a larger Association with two premises, one on Mission Road and the other in Koramangala, with various projects for the empowerment and well-being of women and children.

The vision of the YWCA of India is to empower women at all levels to struggle for justice.
